How to Climb a Larger Mountain in a Day

People have asked me how it is to climb a bigger mountain in a day. It usually starts very early. We awake at 10–11 pm after trying to sleep a few hours during the day. We dress in layers and prep our packs. We drive to mountain, arrive just after midnight, gear up in parking lot, and head out with headlamps by 1:30am.
