Why is Chick-Fil-A so Successful?

I have been fascinated about our very apparent obsession with this chicken sandwich. Is it that pickle? I do love a salty pickle. Is it the super tender chicken that results from pressure cooking? How is it that people will wait in a “fast food” drive thru for so long just for a sandwich or some nuggets? Honestly, I don’t usually have the patience, but I do appreciate the food and the customer service is very accommodating and polite. Still some seem to only point at perceived religious or political beliefs. That seems to polarize the lovers and haters as well. It made me want to understand the story, especially because it started in the area where I now live.

In 1946, the late S. Truett Cathy started the Dwarf Grill, a small diner in Hapeville, Atlanta. Soon, the restaurant employees learned how to mass-produce chicken sandwiches using a pressure fryer. And this paved the way for Chick-Fil-A to open in 1967. Chick-Fil-A sells more chicken sandwiches than anyone else on the planet.

Chick-Fil-A ranks third among the largest restaurant chains in the United States. You will find more than two thousand stores of this fast-food franchise across the country. And each one of these stores makes more than four million dollars in sales every year, which is more than any of the other major fast-food chains make.
